Pathways receives accreditation for a further 5 years

Pathways OOHC program offers both Residential and Foster Care options for young people. Foster Care provides placements for children and young people ranging in ages from 0 to 17 years of age and offers both medium and long term placements

Pathfinders Out of Home Care (OOHC) and foster care program, Pathways has recently received accreditation for a further five years from the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG).

The accreditation conducted 2014 saw the process of evaluating the performance and certifying that standards have been met, and in most cases exceeded in the level required. Pathways received a glowing report which reflects the staff’s dedication by promoting positive environments through support and assistance to all young people and placements in the program.

OOHC residential provides a safe and nurturing environment for young people ranging in ages from 12 to 17 years who are in need of alternative accommodation due to being unable to live with their parents, kinfolk or foster carers.

Pathways aims to meet the needs of these young people in care through strong, consistent connections and supports with children, young people, staff and foster carers.
