COVID-19 response

COVID-19 is a global public health crisis that has brought about profound challenges for society. Pathfinders is committed to understanding, and appropriately responding to, the various impacts on our staff and communities.

Established in March 2020, the Pathfinders Response Team (PRT) is charged with ensuring a consistent, timely and effective response to the pandemic, as well as future events requiring an organisation-wide response.

As part of its work, the PRT has developed the COVID-19 Operating Protocols, a comprehensive document providing guidelines to Pathfinders teams dealing with the virus, and covering everything from the provision of hand sanitiser, to the step-by-step response to COVID-19 testing. Updated as required, the protocols help provide clarity surrounding expectations and processes and, in turn, reduce anxiety amongst staff and communities.

Information packs have also been prepared for our children and young people, and our Managers and Team Leaders.
