Pathfinders has partnered with the Crescent Education & Volunteer Service (CEVS) in Tamale, West Ghana to build the CEVS Disability Support Centre. Pathfinders assisted CEVS to complete phase one of building the new Centre and the basic structure of the building has been completed.
In August 2013, the Centre was officially opened with representatives from the Centre and the Australian High Commission attending the opening ceremony. Pathfinders was thanked for their valuable contribution towards this program and ongoing support.
Pathfinders is now in the process of locating further funding to assist CEVS to complete the building and purchase necessary items so it can commence using the building to support those living with disabilities within the region and their families.
