A free hip hop workshop for youth will be run by IFYSS over the first week of the July school holidays to exercise the power of dance.
Inverell Family and Youth Support Services (IFYSS), Armajun Aboriginal Health Services and the Linking Together Centre are sponsoring the workshop from June 30 to July 4, led by young Inverell dance talent Jay Tickell.
There is a morning session for children aged 6 to 11, and an afternoon session for older dancers aged 12-17. Twenty places are open in each session and with limited places, IFYSS staff urged interested dancers to book a spot now.
Dancers must register through IFYSS on 6722 4351 or stop in their office at 92 Otho Street, Inverell. All additional details will be passed on when booking.
