“It is with sadness Pathfinders advises our Armidale Youth Refuge residential house suffered extensive fire damage early Sunday morning (11th April) and is currently uninhabitable. All residents and staff are safe and physically unharmed.
Police and Fire Brigade attended the scene. Currently Police are investigating.
Pathfinders has been quick acting and well-resourced to move staff and clients to a Pathfinders owned residence where continuation and operation of the service remains ongoing.
Counselling support has been arranged for those affected. This comes as a massive shock to us all and in the true Pathfinders spirit we have come together and once again demonstrate our resilience.
